Massage Therapy

Corona Regional Medical Center Hospice Auxiliary is unique in that we provide multiple programs that many other small hospices do not provide. Since 2010, we have provided for massage therapy for our Hospice patients. A certified Massage Therapist provides a massage as often as weekly to requesting patients in their current residence. This provides relaxation and relief from pain for the patient.

Research has show, " Integration of massage therapy into the acute care setting creates overall positive results in the patient’s ability to deal with the challenging physical and psychological aspects of their health condition."
